I began working as a farm hand on Sunnyspot Farm in 2014 but soon after started driving for the Cool Haul Transport side of the business. They were long days, but I enjoyed talking with the growers when collecting their fruit for packing. I also regularly drove the packed fruit to the Brisbane Markets. Sunnyspot has since sold Cool Haul and I am now in Logistics. I direct the collection and delivery of avocados, unloading & storage of packaging and the making and delivery of cartons. During the season this keeps me very busy.
